Dow ends at 2nd straight record after strong US data

The Dow edged to a second straight record on Wednesday following a batch of strong US economic data on hiring and consumer sentiment.
At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stood at 26,833.76, up 0.2 percent.
The broad-based S&P 500 added 0.1 percent at 2,925.63, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.3 percent to 8,024.54.
