Former Songkhla senator Prasert dies of cancer

Former Songkhla senator Prasert Chitapong passed away peacefully on Sunday night, his son said. The 70-year-old was suffering from cancer.
Pongchit Chitapong posted on the Facebook wall of Prasert Chitapong that his father died at 10,08pm.
Prasert was a member of the post-coup National Reform Council.
Religious rites are to be held on November 4 or 5 at Wat Khuan Lung. The family will announce the exact schedule later.
