Fire engulfs furniture shop in Pathum Thani
A furniture shop in Pathum Thani was engulfed by fire on Wednesday night, police said.
The fire started at the Somnuek Kha Mai shop on Bang Khan-Nong Sua road in Tambon Klong Sam of Klong Luang district at 9pm, Pol Capt Chumpol Song-ngam of the Klong Luang police station, said
Ten fire engines took about 90 minutes to control the blaze after it swept through six units of the seven-unit shophouse.
No one was injured.
A worker, Pranom Sangkaew, 64, told police that the fire started behind the shop and spread fast.
Police have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
