She was found on a Krabi beach and taken back to probable habitat in Trang, southern Thailand, on April 30.
She is now around six months old and living on Koh Libong in Trang. The dugong is one of Thailand's reserved animals, associated with the region and attracting tourists.
Officials say when Marium is stronger she will be released in the open sea off the Trang coast.
