KTB offers help to borrowers affected by tropical storms

Krungthai Bank (KTB) has launched measures to help its individual and SME clients affected by recent tropical storms.

Oranuch Siraprapha, KTB’s assistant general manager for individual strategy and products, said the measures include easing loan-repayment criteria for existing borrowers.
“We are suspending repayment for three months for individual borrowers, and lifting interest for the fourth to sixth months.
“As for those who have borrowed under the KTB Housing Loan and Home for Cash schemes, the bank will not charge interest for the first three months and will reduce interest by 0.25 per cent from the fourth to the 12th month.
“SME clients in affected areas will be entitled to a reduced interest of up to 1 per cent for 12 months and will not have to repay the principle for up to 12 months,” she said.
“KTB is also offering loans of up to Bt10 million for repairing fixed assets and raw materials at just 4 per cent interest per year.”
Interested individuals and SMEs have until February 28, 2020 to apply for support from KTB. Call Krungthai Call Centre at (02) 111 1111 for more info.
