Phuket to screen tourists from Star Clipper cruise for virus

The Phuket Provincial Public Health Office and related authorities have set up a coronavirus (Covid-19) screening checkpoint at Patong Pier to check 145 tourists from Scandinavian countries who have travelled to Thailand on the Star Clipper cruise.
Tourism in the Andaman Sea is currently in the high season, resulting in a large number of tourists visiting Phuket although Chinese tourists are missing due to the disease outbreak.
