Infected PAO chief warns people who have interacted with him
Kitti Paopiamsap, chairman of the Chachoengsao Provincial Administration Organisation (PAO) warned people who had been in contact with him during March 6-15 to be on guard of any symptom of being infected with Covid-19 and follow the Ministry of Public Health's recommendations.
He said that during March 6-15, he attended numerous events, such as weddings, ordinations, fairs, funerals and meetings.
Recently, actor Matthew “Deane” Chanthavanij and famous boxing fan Sakol Laksim revealed through their social media that they had contracted the virus on March 13.
On hearing the news, Kitti who at Lumpini Boxing Stadium on Ramintra road in Bangkok on the same date (March 6) as Matthew Deane, went for a test at Paolo Hospital.
The lab test on March 15 turned out to be positive, and he is currently under treatment at at a hospital under the Ministry of Public Health.
“If you have a fever, sore throat, dry cough, runny nose, and panting, you should see a doctor immediately to find out if you are infected ,” he said.
He also advised people who had been in contact with him to undergo self-quarantine, wear a surgical mask, wash their hands frequently, avoid contact with others, and contact Chachoengsao Covid-19 hotline: 0947922525 for further information and assistance if necessary.
