‘Court’ takes a beating after Prayut verdict
Core protest leader Atthaphol Buaphat smashed a spirit house in a symbolic protest against the court verdict acquitting PM Prayut Chan-o-cha on Wednesday.
The Thai name for a spirit house is “san phraphum“, but “san” also means court.

Atthaphol was targeting the Constitutional Court ruling earlier in the day that found Prayut had not violated the charter by staying on in a military residence after retiring from the Army.
