Twitter to identify Thai government-owned media from next week
From next Wednesday, Twitter in Thailand will make a short insertion to identify accounts owned by government media.
The system has been used since August 2020 in some countries, such as the US, the UK, Russia, China and France.
It will expand to other countries, such as Canada, Cuba, Germany, Iran, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Thailand.
