How to protect yourself from PM2.5

People in Bangkok and its vicinity have been suffering from high levels of PM2.5 in the air or particulate matter smaller than 2.5 micrograms. Exposure to PM2.5 has been linked to lung and heart disease.

 

Here is how you can protect yourself:
• Wear facemask while outside
• Only leave home when necessary, especially children and elderly
• Avoid exercising outdoors
• Avoid polluting activities
• Keep doors and windows closed
• Reduce the use of automobiles
