New cluster found in Nonthaburi workers camp
A new cluster of Covid-19 infections was confirmed on Monday morning at the MRT Pink Line’s construction camp in Nonthaburi.
As many as 519 out of 900 workers tested positive in the camp set up by Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction in Muang district.
Samples had been collected from the workers on Saturday and the result confirmed on Monday.
The authorities said most of the workers at the camp were migrants and will be quarantined in the camp, while Thai fellow workers will be sent to field hospitals. The camp has been ordered closed as of Monday evening.
