The woman died at her home in Bangkok’s Bang Khen district after suffering a migraine following her vaccination on Tuesday.
Dr Atthasit Dul-Amnuay, head of Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital's forensic medicine department, gave the following timeline for the deceased.
11.45am: Receives Covid-19 jab at Thai Business Administration Technological College's vaccination station. Does not report any side effects. Develops fever and fatigue after arriving at home.
10pm: Suffers a seizure and loses consciousness. Neighbour administers CPR and ambulance is called.
11.10pm: Pronounced dead from unknown cause by medic.
"We concluded from the autopsy results that she had died due to heart attack," Dr Atthasit said. "The forensics department will now consult other medical experts on whether her death was related to the Covid-19 vaccination," he added.
