The 19-year-old Suphan Buri native enjoys an ordinary life, she tells Thai Rath's website.
Pao stills rides the bus to classes at ramkhamheang University and to singing lessons at GMM Grammy.
"It's convenient now that I live not so far from Grammy," she says. "It's only a few bus stops away."
She regularly takes bus No 136 and 186 and yes, some fans do recognise her, and she happily poses for photos as they trundle down the road. "I feel glad if they remember me," she says.
Pao personally replies to followers on Twitter at @Paowalee and interacts with fans on Facebook.
Just don't look for her at the shopping malls - Pao generally sticks close to her apartment, waiting for her father to come visit.
However, she did venture out to the multiplexes to see "Pumpuang" - five times in fact - and yes, she bought her own tickets.
Ken Czechs out
Behind the making of Channel 3's romantic-comedy series "Kon Rak Luang Jai" was the tears of its star, Theeradej "Ken" Wongpuapan.
He plays a diplomat in Europe, and shows were filmed in the Czech Republic, which kept the actor away from his wife and two young sons for an entire month.
Ken flew them over to Prague for a week before production, but he missed everyone terribly when they returned to Thailand.
So as soon as Ken got back, he and his wife Noi drove to eldest son Kunnatham's school, where the overjoyed boy ran up and embraced his dad in front of the other students.
Ken started sobbing, and was bawling away as he picked the boy up and ducked around a corner to a more secluded spot for a tearful family reunion.
"I was about to say that I love him so much but then I started crying and I could not stop," he says, explaining that he hid out of embarrassment.
It was a good thing, too. Otherwise, folks might think Ken was at the school filming another soap opera.
