Use the lese majeste law sparingly

I support the Lawyers Council of Thailand's proposal of establishing a special unit to monitor and take action against internet (and other) content deemed insulting to the monarchy.

This unit would vigorously prosecuting those seeking to topple the monarchy while encouraging those who act with ignorance to have a better understanding.
I suggest that this unit should, above all, apply the spirit of His Majesty’s words in their daily work: "The use of the lese-majeste law ultimately damages the monarchy." Thus, the law should be used sparingly, and must be used to protect only the monarchy – not politicians.
