Luxury jewellery brand Blue River unveiled five new collections that blend Asian craftsmanship and contemporary design at a “When Dream Comes Blue” party at Siam Paragon this past weekend.
“Each collection represents a unique interpretation of the timeless themes of eternal love and undying values,” sales director Nitchaya Thamavaranukup said.
Blue River, she said, is meticulous in its attention to detail at every stage of the creative and production processes. “Our mission is to create inspired works of art for both the local and overseas markets that complement today’s lifestyles.”
The jeweller is re-branding, beginning with a refurbished store and revamped collections. It wants a clearer identity.
Renowned architect Duangrit Bunnag handled the store renovations, choosing an “Asian theme”, with golden teak ensuring a luxurious ambience. The lighting makes it seem like an art gallery.
The ceiling is set with more than 5,000 pieces of teak in a modernistic wave pattern. Out front is a spectacular pair of teak pillars and the display
counter containing the Thai-inspired Leelawadee (Frangipani) diamond collection.
The grand reopening included the “Eternal Blue” fashion show, featuring professional models and celebrities Kornkanok Yongsakul, Ausanee Mahakitsiri, Seekanya Sakdidet Bhanubhandhu, Neeranat Coates, Malinee Coates, Marisa Anita, Pakramai Potrananda and Rasri Vacharapolmek.
The new jewellery collections represent five distinctive styles.
LHC stands for Love, Honour & Cherish, and comprises pieces that would be great gifts for special occasions and relationship milestones.
Spirit Blossoms embodies the joyful spirit and everlasting youth, with pieces ideal for young women full of potential.
Signature Classics takes its cues from timeless art and everlasting beauty and fully exhibits the mastery of Blue River’s Thai craftsmen.
Mosaic symbolises the success achieved by the modern woman as she ascends the career ladder, with beautifully cut jewels displaying sensitivity and expertise.
And Orior is inspired by the mysterious allure of the Orient – the refinement and diversity of Asian wisdom, the warmth and wonders of life in the East.
