HD upgrade is a rip-off

All customers with rented equipment (receivers) were advised to change them in order to receive/view their packages again. However, customers who bought their equipment (like me), were FORCED to buy a new HD Box for Bt3,959, and left with no other option, which I find absolutely ridiculous. I am a long-time  (UBC) True Platinum + Discovery Package subscriber (14 years) and I am very disgusted, that I am “OBLIGED” (as TrueVisions replied) to buy a new HD receiver ... or else not receive any of my subscribed programmes anymore. 

Why do True Visions not have the courtesy to offer us free exchange of their receivers as well?!
