Timex trophies for Ironman athletes
Timex will present "Timex Ironman" watches to the winners of each category in tomorrow's 2012 Ironman 70.3 Laguna Phuket.
Keanapa Jittiruangvichai, a senior manager at Branded & LifestyleLF Asia (Thailand), the distributor of Timex, revealed that the company, as the tournament’s sponsor for the second consecutive year, would hand out Timex Ironman watches to runners and each athlete who completes the punishing race at Laguna Phuket Resort.
Among the favourites to win the event are Switzerland’s Ruedi Wild and Czech Republic’s Radka Vodickova, fresh from winning the men’s and women’s titles respectively at the Laguna Phuket Triathlon last Sunday. The field also includes American Chris Lieto, Italian Massimo Cigana and Swede Frederik Croneborg.
