Poo's fans steam while fists fly

So when Pongsith “Poo” Kampee started singing at Impact on Saturday night, guess what happened?

Poo was two songs into his “Perd Hua Jai Phue Cheewit” outdoor show in Impact’s Aktive Square when things got more active than expected. Apparently it was members of the notorious Vocational Student Gang. Enough punches, chairs, firecrackers and ping-pong bombs were being thrown that Poo halted the proceedings for 15 minutes. Things seemed to cool down and he started another song, only to realise that the brawl was still going on!

The crowd kept chanting “Awk pai!” while the chaos provided cover for significant beer theft. (Amazingly, only four people ended up injured.) Poo persevered for two more tunes, joining fans in pleading for the combatants to take their battle elsewhere, and then he packed it in – but not before issuing a tirade that was soon uploaded to YouTube.
