After renewing the global partnership agreement with 19 time Premier League champions Manchester United, Singha executive director Prurit Bhirombhakdi said the recent alliance stitched up with Carlsberg, who sponsors the Gunners and the Kop, should lead to the two clubs’ involvement with the fans in Thailand.
“Since Carlsberg sponsors both Arsenal and Liverpool, I want to arrange some activities with the fans,” said Prurit who was presented with a souvenir by former Manchester United players Bryan Robson and Andy Cole during the half-time of the Premier League match between United and Southampton.
“We would announce soon about how many fans could get involved with the two teams,” said Prurit, who also confirmed that Manchester United would be coming to Thailand to play a friendly in July.
Singha has sponsorship deals with both Manchester United and Chelsea. The Blues are also scheduled to play a match in Bangkok in the same month. Liverpool are expected to return to Thailand in July.
