PM can respond, if she can be bothered

It's preposterous for Prime Minister Yingluck to file a lawsuit against a cartoonist whom she feels insulted her. In a democracy you simply can't tell millions of people they could face a lawsuit if they insult their prime minister.

It’s true that when you’re the prime minister you will be the target of many nasty attacks. But it’s also true that, as prime minister, you have more opportunity than the rest of us to go to the media and present your case to the public. I think that’s a pretty fair trade-off.
But if Yingluck doesn’t think it’s fair, then she should follow the advice of former US President Harry Truman: “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”
