Diamonds are forever

Gempeace Group fetes 60 years of everlasting love with a new collection of jewellery that celebrates wedded bliss

Gempeace Group recently celebrated the season of love with an extravagant wedding fashion show featuring gorgeous jewellery and diamond veils. The company also revealed the world’s first wedding anniversary certificate embellished with glittering diamonds.
Defining eternal love with precious gems, the Group reflected the meaning of “happily ever after” through a fashion show of gorgeous wedding garments and jewellery valued at more than Bt1 billion.
For the event, which was organised in collaboration with the Emporium department store, TSL Auto Corporation and Finale Wedding Studio, the Fashion Hall was transformed into a luxurious wedding venue, bedecked with white blooms. The momentous gifts of love owned by celebrity guests were showcased in a special zone.
The celebrity models included such familiar faces as Jarin Sumanont, Marisa Chew and Muna Al Zarooni. They were joined by lovebirds Ditawat Issara and Laksameekan Ingkakul, Jarin and Panita Tumwattana, Jetana and Supee Pongpanich, Wittaya and Maliwan Prayongphan and Amnart and Wanpen Jermprapai, who recently celebrated their golden jubilee. The ladies swooned when heartthrob Atichart “Aum” Chumnanon appeared in the finale, while the guys looked hard and long at Usamanee “Kwan” Waitayanon as she modelled a diamond-embellished, four-metre-long veil and jewellery from the latest collection.
Talking about his inspiration for the event, Gempeace Group president Chuchai Chairitthilert said, “A wedding is the start of a serious relationship and only living together will prove whether it is true love. Every love story is gratifying, but everlasting love should be honoured – and that’s what we are doing here. Western tradition says 60 years of true love are like precious diamonds and this pleasant notion led to the artistry of La Belle’s Brilliant Diamond collection.”
Also showcased at the event was Chuchai’s Valentine’s collection for Gempeace, which was paired with wedding fashion from Finale Wedding Studio.
