Five fine ways you can help the people of Nepal

Thailand's most updated English news website, newspaper english, breaking news : The Nation

Nepal’s appalling battering by last Saturday’s earthquake has prompted a global outpouring of empathy and triggered countless fund-raising efforts for the victims. Thailand has sent a sizeable amount of cash and rice and several hundred doctors, and its citizens are chipping in too in a variety of ways.
Soopsip has compiled a partial list of activities and events planned, and they’re all crying out for your support.

At an event first mooted by caring users of Twitter as #singfornepal, the band iHere – which has a large following on the social media – will provide the backup for a series of singers, beginning with the cast of the GTH show “LoveSick: The Series”. They’ll be joined by actor-singer Pe Arak, contestants from television’s most popular singing contests, “Academy Fantasia”, “KPN” and “The Voice”, and, from the Music Union label, a slew of gifted vocalists. All proceeds are pledged to Nepal with no deductions.
