Online dating site wasn’t free, despite claiming that

SUNDAY, JANUARY 10, 2016

How many readers have tried online dating? I recently looked up one of the best known online dating services in Thailand and was told I could join for free. What did I have to lose?

What they didn’t tell me was that all messages sent to and from me would be “locked” because I needed to be “upgraded” (meaning I needed to pay!)
On the Internet there was an article (I’m sure it was planted) by a “satisfied customer” who not only claimed that through that service he met a different lady every night but over half of them went to bed with him on the first date.
Isn’t that special! But why would a man who is that irresistable to women be using a dating service in the first place?
Because of my low opinion of online dating I’m instead going to use this letter column to run my own personal ad which reads as follows: “Multi-billionaire and winner of the Brad Pitt look-alike contest desperate to go out with anyone”. And if any women respond to my ad let me assure them their emails will be immediately forwarded to the American Psychiatric Association.
