Trump’s thugs make their own law
So Donald Trump is the “law and order candidate”. Yet when a white man sucker-punched a non-violent black protester at a Trump rally, he called the attacker a “patriot” and offered to pay for his legal defence.
And during a Republican debate Trump threatened to punish any soldier who refused to violate international law by torturing people.
Beyond all that, people who believe in law and order respect the legal judgements of the director of the FBI even when they’re not politically convenient for them. The thugs at the Republican convention shouted, “Throw her [Hillary Clinton] in jail”, even though she has never even been indicted, are clearly people who have no respect for the law or the basic legal principle of “innocent until proven guilty”.
Fascism is not law and order!
