The St Regis Bangkok continued its time-honoured tradition of giving back to society last month by hosting its prestigious St Regis Charity Culinary Gala at the hotel’s Astor Ballroom.
Since inception in 2013, this annual social highlight has raised almost Bt30 million for various charities selected by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This year, The St Regis Bangkok is hoping to present the Princess with the largest charitable donation so far, which will go to the Thai Red Cross College of Nursing.

The St Regis gives back

“It was my absolute pleasure to host The St Regis Bangkok Charity Ball, which is regarded as one of Bangkok’s most prestigious annual events. Our objective is not only to celebrate the anniversary of The St Regis, but more importantly, to give back to the community in which we conduct our business. Contributing to local communities is part of Minor International’s sustainability development plan, and it is engrained in our long-term business strategy. With the considerable sum of proceeds we raise each year, I am certain that we can make an impact in the long run,” commented William E Heinecke, chairman and CEO of Minor International, the owner of The St Regis Bangkok.
