Unbelievable! Police go after victims in underage sex scandal

The news that police investigators are planning to make one of the victims in the Mae Hong Son child sex-for-sale scandal undergo a lie detector test is unbelievable and profoundly troubling.
Instead, why don’t we apply the lie detector to the former governor of the province and other police and provincial officials – who are alleged to have been the masterminds and customers in this child-prostitution case – to see whether or not they are lying?
What need is served by applying more force and pressure against the already traumatised victims?
Once again people are asking whether there is nothing under the sun the Thai police force won’t do?
