The debate on Trump is a raging one – so let’s hear both sides 

Nigel Pike was spot on. The number of anti-Trump letters versus pro-Trump letters published in The Nation over the past few days was four against four, while your competitor had a score of eight against none. Nigel’s perception pleased me, since lately I too have noticed a lopsided view in the other English-language newspaper, where different views seem less welcome. I had thought I was the only one with that feeling. 
Meanwhile, in this space I find plenty of letters expressing views that differ from mine, and I enjoy reading them – either for the laughs or to expand my knowledge. 
President Donald Trump is the one and only world leader who has succeeded in putting our lives constantly on edge. At least with him around the news is never stale. Please hang on to your editorial policy of promoting variety as the spice of life.
