The Thailand team underwent training at Kiarti Thanee Country Club yesterday without the Muangthong United forward, who was forced to pull out due to fitness concerns and the death of a relative.
Tristan, a defeder from Muangthong United also pulled out later in the day, citing injury concerns. Thailand had earlier lost the services of key striker Chanathip Songkrasin, who preferred to play for new team Consadole Sapporo in Japan.

However, Rajevic has no plans to reinforce his 24-member team by calling up a new striker. Only 23 players will be chosen for the four-team King’s Cup tournament, which will be held from July 14–16 at the Rajamangala National Stadium.
“This is a strong competition. We are going to prepare to give the best and make everybody happy,” the Serb told his players yesterday.
Thailand will start their campaign on Friday against North Korea at 7.30pm while Belarus will face Burkina Faso in the curtain-raiser match at 4.30pm. The final and third place play-off are due on Sunday. Thai Rath TV will telecast all the four games live.

“I expect to see support from everybody because it’s important that we go together. Players, fans and media have the same target. So it’s important to support each other to achieve this result together,” he |said.
“I told the players that it’s a matter of pride to play for their national team. They should do their best as we will all benefit from good results,” Rajevic said.
