The drama, which won two Makhala Awards and five TV Gold Awards after being adapted from Botan’s popular novel in 1989, is a reflection of Thai society and was remade in 1997 and again in 2008.
This third version stars English-Thai actor Alexander Rendell, actress Nathaphon Temirak and Pongpat Wachirabunjong.
Pongpat plays Phol, a father who loves his eldest son Pongpan more than his four other children. Pongpan (Surinthorn Krawut) is a good student but tends to be sullen and bad-tempered. He hates Pathana (Alex), who is his complete opposite. Penpak Sirikul plays their mother and sticks up for Pathana after he drops out of school to start his own garage.
Nathaphon plays Wansawang, the girl who loves Pathana in secret and helps him find more customers.
