Messi deserves praise for stance
Footballer Lionel Messi has been widely quoted as telling an Argentina sports channel that he could not go to Israel because he could not play against people who kill innocent Palestinian children.
“We had to cancel the game because we are humans before we are footballers.”
Meanwhile, the Arab states have no courage to raise their voices or protest against Israel against the killing of innocent Palestinian.
Perhaps they feel helpless or powerless in front of Israel, or they think that the United States and Israel will solve their problems.
Shame on those Arab states that are involved in the war against Yemen and killing innocent people (particularly children and women).
I salute Messi for his bold words.
