Nene Royal joins Linkin Park on AGT stage ahead of final result

Thai teenage rocker Nene Royal joined Linkin Park for a live performance of “The Emptiness Machine” on the America’s Got Talent 2026 stage, marking another milestone in the 16-year-old Phuket musician’s run to the season 21 final.

The performance came during the finale results show on Thursday (September 24, 2026, Thailand time), before the winner of the US$1 million competition was announced. Linkin Park had been confirmed among the special guests appearing in the finale.

Nene, whose full name is Rattikarn Amloy, has emerged as one of the most closely followed contestants of the season after reaching the final through Mel B’s Golden Buzzer. The Phuket singer and guitarist is one of 10 finalists competing for the title.

One of the highlights of the results show saw Nene perform alongside Linkin Park on “The Emptiness Machine”, combining her vocals and guitar playing with the band’s live performance.

The collaboration drew an enthusiastic response inside the venue, adding another high-profile moment to Nene’s journey from a young musician in Phuket to the AGT final stage.

Ahead of the performance, Nene’s Facebook page also shared photographs of her and her family with members of Linkin Park. The post carried the message: “Dreams can come true if our hearts fight.”

The images quickly attracted attention among Thai fans as Nene prepared for the final result.

‘Seven Nation Army’ carries Nene into final vote

For her final competitive performance, Nene reworked The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army”, adding her own guitar-driven style to the rock track.

Her performance received a standing ovation and praise from the judging panel, with judges highlighting the individuality that has characterised her appearances throughout the competition.

Nene began her AGT campaign with The Cranberries’ “Zombie”, followed by Muse’s “Hysteria”. She later performed Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” during the live quarter-finals, earning Mel B’s Golden Buzzer and a direct place in the final.

Her final rendition of “Seven Nation Army” completed the competitive stage of her campaign before voting closed and the season 21 champion was determined.

From performing in Phuket to sharing a stage with one of rock music’s best-known international bands at just 16, Nene’s AGT run has placed the young Thai musician before a global television audience and brought widespread attention to her distinctive rock sound.
