The 16-year-old singer and guitarist from Phuket is among 10 acts competing for the US$1 million prize, with the winner to be announced during a results show featuring guest performers including Linkin Park.
Nene brings vocals and guitar to ‘Seven Nation Army’
Nene chose The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” for her final competitive performance, which aired on Wednesday morning in Thailand. Wearing a bright red outfit, she combined singing with electric guitar, bringing the song’s familiar repeating riff to the AGT stage. Contemporary coverage described an energetic rendition that drew praise from the judges and a standing ovation.
Nene’s route from ‘Zombie’ to a Golden Buzzer
Nene began her AGT campaign with The Cranberries’ “Zombie”, earning four “yes” votes at the auditions. Her subsequent performance of Muse’s “Hysteria” during the Judges’ Callbacks secured a place among the 44 acts selected for the live shows.
Nene then performed Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” in the live quarter-finals, prompting judge Mel B to award her the Golden Buzzer. The decision sent the Thai contestant directly to the final, allowing her to bypass the semi-finals.
The Warning collaboration adds to Nene’s finale story
Nene’s connection with The Warning has moved beyond the initial reports of rehearsal footage. It was reported that AGT arranged for her to meet the Mexican trio and play their song “Kerosene” together, with the band saying the full performance video would be released the following day.
The Warning’s three members appeared with Nene in her introductory video.

AGT results precede TrueVisions’ Thai screenings
The two-hour results show begins on NBC at 9pm US Eastern time on September 23, corresponding to 8am–10am on September 24 in Thailand. US viewers can watch on NBC, with episodes also available on Peacock after their television broadcast.
TrueVisions’ dedicated finale guide lists a later Thai schedule: the performance episode on September 24 and the results episode on Friday (September 25). Both are scheduled for 3pm on True X-Zyte, Channel 340, and 8pm on the TrueVisions NOW app, Thai time.
NBC restricts voting to the United States and Puerto Rico. Its finale guidance lists the NBC voting website, the official AGT app and a designated post on AGT’s TikTok account as voting methods, with TikTok participation requiring a public account. The finale voting window closes at 7am US Eastern time on September 23, equivalent to 6pm that day in Thailand; votes during subsequent broadcasts do not count.
