If James Gleason managed to curb his emotions when writing letters on the subject of a Jewish state, he would possibly refrain from twisting the words of others. At no time was I "railing" against Israel, nor am I "outraged" about the existence of a Jewis
Firstly, no formal Jewish state exists – at least as yet, and, second, I was only arguing against the creation of religious states, which includes the states Gleason quotes. I have no love lost for any form of Islamic state. Religious fundamentalism is the worst enemy of peace.
