Be thankful to the Americans

June A’s comments were jaw-dropping: “I don’t want the Americans coming back.” Being from Wales, June surely must appreciate the tens of thousands of Americans who died so that she could still be fluent in English and not German. What has Wales ever done for the world, by the way?
And, living in Thailand as she does, she must again be thankful to the Americans that they do not speak Japanese here, but Thai.
Best you leave the Americans alone, June. Be thankful they are around when you need them. Speaking of thankful, today is American Thanksgiving Day. I am sure they are quite thankful for having left the Commonwealth when they did.
