Thaksin always rewards his friends

I thank George Morgan for his perception, which had never crossed my mind, that it was Thaksin Shinawatra who alone orchestrated this Cabinet reshuffle through his puppet sister, and I also thank him for not calling me naive or shallow.

However, Thaksin’s past Cabinet members and his personality traits tell me otherwise. There were all types of personality in his past Cabinets – a loose cannon and one crook of huge proportions who is now on the run. His greatest asset is that he is always loyal to friends who have done him favours. Jatuporn falls into that category. Breaking his promise to Jatuporn is out of character. Hence, in my view, it was his sister who has frustrated his “order”.

Also, I apologise to Somsak Pola for having surprised him with my naughtiness in using the phrase “dumb blonde” which, to him, is sexist, corny and tasteless. Again, this had never crossed my mind, and I would never have realised he could be so upright and sensitive.
