Thaworn gets blown away

Thaworn Wiratchant was swept away by the gusty winds, shooting a five-over 77 in the third round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship on Saturday.

Thaworn, the reigning Asian Tour Order of Merit winner, found water on the par three fourth hole for a double bogey but was still delighted his short game minimised the damage at the TPC Blue Monster.
“My tee shot were not good today because of the wind blowing from left to right on almost every hole. The greens were hard and fast as well. I couldn’t hit long from my tee shots and still needed to use long iron for my approach shots in the wind,” said Thaworn, who was 1-under 215 and tied for 36th place.
