Of course, they are in absolute control now, but having departed from the fairytale, the way forward is more difficult. The “leader” still runs the show but with his unpredictability exposed. The rice price-pledging scheme is impractical. Now we have the mega-projects to put us in debt for the next 50 years. Is it for love of Thailand?
