A chance to watch three of Europe's famous clubs was made available for football fans as AP Honda launched its "Honda Choice of Fun" activity, with as many as 1,500 tickets on offer to see English Premier League champions Manchester United, Liverpool and
The three clubs are scheduled to visit the country for exhibition matches in the capital, starting with United led by new manager David Moyes on July 13, Liverpool on July 28 and Spanish champions Barcelona on August 7.
With not many seats reportedly remaining for those three matches at Rajamangala National stadium, AP Honda are hoping fans will not miss out on a chance to get a glimpse of their favourite players, with a total of 1,500 tickets up for grabs in its latest promotional event.
“Under our campaign, ‘Discover Your Fun; Let’s Find Something New, Wow!’, AP Honda is ready to deliver the variety of fun to Thai fans. We are taking the level of fun higher this time by handing fans an opportunity to get up close with their favourite teams.
“Whichever team you support, you can be a part of this memorable moment,” said Suchart Arunsaengroj, AP Honda sales director.
To earn a chance to win tickets (500 available for each match), fans have to request a “fun code” at a Honda Wing Centre. Type the fun code followed by the name of your chosen team – M for Manchester United, L for Liverpool, and B for Barcelona – and then send a text to 4221800.
For the Manchester United match, fans can send an SMS until June 30, with the winners to be announced on July 3. Liverpool fans have until July 13, with winners to be announced on July 16, while for the Barcelona match, fans have until July 23, with winners to be announced on July 26. Each winner gets two tickets.
Neymar’s decision hailed
Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has expressed his delight at the club’s capture of Brazilian international Neymar.
“I congratulate Neymar for choosing a sporting project and not an economic one. If they say Neymar is a Youtube player that is a good thing because he scores great goals and makes great plays. It is a dream to have a striker like this. The more better players we have, the better our chances will be of winning.”
