It is unprecedented for any government to appoint a former “enemy” to its team of assistant ministers. It is time for all parties to refrain from branding a person either a friend or enemy. We should instead ask what a person can do for the country. Damrong Phidet, former chief of the National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department, and a true lover |of forestry and wildlife, who previously gave members of this government a hard time on righteousness, can do plenty for this country. May this trend continue!
