Deputy prime minister will just plod on

No matter how much people complain about Deputy Prime Minister Plodprasop Suraswadi's purportedly disappointing performance, he will remain part of the Cabinet no matter what. Why?

First, he is capable of keeping the public in the dark about the government’s multibillion-baht flood-prevention projects.
Second, he can unhesitatingly call critics “trash” or “hia” – the informal and lowest form of name-calling in Thai.
Third, he can jump into dirty or stinking waters anywhere, anytime.
