Hollow promises from PM as govt moves to help Thaksin

Despite their denials, Pheu Thai's extending the amnesty bill to cover actions of the now-defunct Assets Scrutiny Committee, founded by the coup-makers to investigate Thaksin's assets, is clearly designed to benefit one, and only one, person.

Yingluck says she wants reconciliation and establishes a high-profile panel for that purpose, but to me, she’s relentlessly pushing forward with the one issue that will split Thailand asunder, all for the benefit of her brother, and he alone.
Lady, your actions betray your words.
