Better education is what's needed to give our girls a bright future

Save the girls' future with education. A few days ago, there were three interesting news items about girls:

- A Pakistani schoolgirl won the Nobel Peace Prize for her campaign for girls to be given equal rights in schooling.
- An International Day for the Girl Child was agreed for a worldwide campaign to raise awareness about rights and opportunities for girls, and be developed in various fields.
- A campaign uses education to improve the lot of girls (National, October 12).
For a schoolgirl to get opportunities, “Because I am a girl” international campaign promotes education and elevates the quality of life and vocational skills of girls.
It reinforces this by making us see clearly that their rights of access to education need to be respected and not discriminated against. It is an opportunity for them to gain a bright way to develop themselves and immunity to victimisation by sexual abuse and torture.
In our society and families, has our girls’ education been well maintained? And they have also studied what they want and to be happy?
