Martial law a necessity

At the time of the coup d'etat last May, Thailand was a failed state due to a breakdown of law and order from top to bottom of society. The military takeover was absolutely essential to restore some order to the country.

This situation cannot change until it is understood that the behaviour of 2010 and 2013-14 is totally unacceptable and law and order must prevail. M79s must not be allowed to dictate politics by propping up a failed government.
Those calling for the freedom of expression, which is the preserve of a non-violent democracy, are the same people who call for a return to democracy, which has never existed. Until this is understood and accepted, martial law must remain for the sake of the country. The interests of the country must be placed above self-interest.
