I was so heartened by your headline. It is incredible that the families of the two murdered Britons have come out and declared they have full confidence in the Thai police after the case was reviewed by three Scotland Yard detectives.
Big thanks are due to the families for being so fair-minded. This is doubly rewarding, coming as it does after previous cases in which foreign sceptics have damned Thailand as a third-world country with a poor justice system. Can we now expect apologies from those foreigners?
