Establishing a hate figure is simplistic appeasement. It does not address the root cause.
The majority of Muslims have never even read the Koran or the Hadiths, nor studied the history of their ideology from inception. They simply do what they are told, usually by their imam or other elders, or they are unquestioning Muslims by tradition.
Consequently they are convinced that they are followers of a peaceful religion, because that is what they are told. Many non-Muslim observers hold a very different, more objective view of the religion. Non-Muslims open their eyes to the reality and history of Islam. Therein lies the cause. The majority of Muslims are not to blame for their plight. Neither are Thais, the British, Buddhists or Tony Abbott. The plight of the Rohingya is due solely to the misery and bigotry of the Islamic indoctrination in which they are mentally cocooned.
The solution is enlightenment through encouraging realisation that they are being rejected because they are regarded as followers of Islam, which has an infamous reputation of antisocial, destructive behaviour and intimidation guided by laws from the seventh century. By its own clearly displayed definition, Islam is not a peaceful religion.
Sadly, the Rohingya are suffering the consequences of atrocities being perpetrated worldwide in the name of Islam, the enactment of fundamentalist Islam as per the Koran and Haddiths. Eighty per cent of the people on the planet find this unacceptable and repugnant.
