Chinese haute-couture designer Guo Pei, who famously dressed singer Rihanna for the 2015 Met Gala, will participate in Bangkok International Fashion Week, giving a stylish talk on March 22 at 3pm at the Siam Paragon Cineplex.
Organised by the Department of Industrial Promotion and Siam Piwat, the talk offers a rare opportunity for enthusiasts to glimpse behind the scenes at the global fashion scene and hear about Guo’s success firsthand.
Time magazine last year included her on its annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people, noting how much she’s accomplished to promote haute couture in China.
Her creations have been the first choice of national political figures, entertainment stars and the business elite.
