Trump alone has the might to save the world

Re: “Courage needed to rescue the US”, Have Your Say, August 18.

That is a very true statement. The US is in one disastrous mess, and it has not happened over the last few months. The US has been busy digging its own grave for two to three decades. Illegally invading Iraq, deposing Mubarak and Gaddhafi and assisting terrorists to overthrow Bashir al Assad has destabilised the Middle East. This in turn has resulted in an invasion by economic migrants and Islamic terrorists from Africa and the Middle East, all claiming refugee status.
Add to this Bill Clinton’s attempt at winning over North Korea by naively appeasing the regime with a financial bribe in 1992, and Obama’s similar “deal” with Iran.
The Obama legacy is now the “swamp” that needs draining, with its corruption and politicising of the Department of Justice and its $20-trillion national debt. His policy of Common Core has further dumbed down education standards. Under Obama the world lost respect for the US. Respect is earned through strength, not weakness.
The US does have a man of courage, but he stands very much alone. Against him stand the Democrat Party and mainstream media with their invented lies, and even many Republicans lack the backbone to stand up for their own principles, on which Donald Trump campaigned.
Above all, he is faced with the globalist movement backed with limitless funding that is set on destroying the US. They have their mass of naive and gullible believers indoctrinated with propaganda.
On Charlottesville, President Trump made it quite clear in his final statement that he had awaited all the facts prior to making an announcement. He laid the blame quite clearly on all parties involved in the riots.
As in other similar situations such as at the University of California Berkley, the death, destruction and injuries could have been completely avoided had the police not been ordered to stand down by leftwing politicians.
Had they not done so, of course, there would not have been an incident for which they could blame the president, as they always contrive to do.
Interestingly, North Korea has backed down from attacking Guam since being threatened with “fire and fury”, not weak appeasement. President Trump alone has the courage to stand against the destructive New World Order movement lead by the world’s most wealthy and powerful.
