Economists agree that ‘economic miracle’ doesn’t belong to Trump

As an American, I was completely flabbergasted by Alf Haupt’s total and unashamed garbage (“Prejudice blinds you to the truth of an economic miracle”, yesterday).
He outrageously claims that there is an economic miracle taking place in the US. His claim that this so-called “miracle” is happening on Trump’s watch takes this obvious bullshine to truly absurd levels of self-delusion. As real savvy economists know very well, Trump, true to form, is claiming credit for something that started with the previous guy who was a real president in the eyes of the majority of Americans.
If I had to choose between Dr Frank’s sometimes confrontational but always interesting attitude and the clearly out-of-orbit Haupt, I know which side I come down on.
