Chevy ‘Storm’ caravans truck aid to South

Chevrolet dealers in the South recently organised a pair of “Colorado Storm Caravans” to help flood victims in Trang and hearing-impaired students in Hat Yai.

Six Colorado High Country Storm trucks hauled survival kits to the flooded districts of Muang, Kantang, Huay Yod and Na Yong.
Meanwhile Hat Yai Inter Car and Service managing director Tawatchai Trisukasem led a separate caravan to Songkla Audiovisual School filled with supplies, and dealership staff conducted a fun recreational activity that had all the kids smiling.
Chevrolet’s global motto is “Driving a Better Tomorrow”, and the aim in Thailand and elsewhere is to help create smarter, healthier and safer communities.
Earlier this month, Chevrolet Sales Thailand and 14 of its dealers launched a campaign to help flood-stricken southern families.
And to improve motoring safety, the firm is offering free “30-point inspections” of all vehicles, covering the suspension, brakes and other parts and systems. Until January 31, customers can go to any dealership for a vehicle check. If any of their vehicles’ parts were damaged in flooding, they can ask for a 30-per-cent discount on replacement parts.
