I keep telling myself that it is a waste of time responding to letters from JC Wilcox. The fellow appears to be beyond reason. But his latest letter breaks new ground as regards delusion and fantasy and really needs to be demolished. 
Or is it all just a “wind-up”, so that he can chuckle at the responses he generates?
Anyway, a media ban was indeed issued regarding a case at Leeds Crown Court in the UK, but was rescinded after appeals from the media, and the case has now been widely reported by the BBC and other mainstream media. 
The case involved a notorious extreme rightwing thug and troublemaker and the UK authorities may have felt that publicity could incite his equally block-headed supporters to violence.
It is possible that Wilcox may have picked up this issue from the rightwing media outlet Breitbart News, which I daresay he follows assiduously, and which reported it in dramatic and exaggerated fashion. 
Breitbart was of course previously managed by erstwhile Trump sidekick Steve Bannon, who, in a recent and revealing interview with the respected current affairs magazine The Spectator, stated that the West “can live with Islam”. Think about that, Mr Wilcox.
